NederlandsIt's almost July 1. Een important date when it comes to holidays. Do you have holidays that are about to expire? Then take them quickly - in consultation with the company where you work.
What about vacation days?
Do you work via Actief Werkt! ? If you work full-time, you get 25 vacation days every year. If you work part-time, you get the proportionate share of that. If you work 20 hours, you get 12.5 vacation days. Of those 25 vacation days, 20 are 'legal'. It is the minimum number of days to which you are entitled under the law in Nederland . As a flex colleague you get 5 extra vacation days. You get these days from the Collective Labor Agreement for Temporary Employees. These are the 'extra-statutory' holidays.
If you still have vacation days left at the end of the year, that's no problem. Your vacation days will remain the same. You can take the statutory days up to 1 July of the following year. The super-legal days even remain in place for 5 years!
Do you have holidays that are about to expire?
Did you still have statutory holidays left in 2017? Then you have to pay attention. What you have not yet withdrawn in 2018 will therefore expire on 1 July 2018. That is one month from now. So check your pay slip in the Mijn Actief environment or in the Mijn Actief App to see if you have any vacation days left. Then you know where you stand. Then you can check with the company where you work when you can still take these days.
