Important information about your salary payment for the upcoming holidays.

Wednesday 29 May 2019

Ascension and Pentecost are coming. Do you work via Actief Werkt! and do you get paid weekly? We list for you what the consequences are for your salary payment.

May 30 Ascension

Ascension always falls on a Thursday. There are no consequences for when your salary for that week takes place. Although the banks are closed, our salary payments will only be affected if the banks are closed on Monday or Tuesday.

Do you normally work on a Thursday? Then you will continue to receive your wages during Ascension Day. If you do not work on a Thursday, you will not receive continued payment of wages. It only gets more complicated if you work irregularly, or if you have just started working through us. We want to handle this with care, so we manually check per person whether you are entitled to continued payment. That takes some extra time. For that reason, you will receive your salary from Ascension Day one week later, i.e. in the week of June 10.

2nd Pentecost day

Whit Monday falls on June 10. That's a Monday, that day the banks are closed. Because of Pentecost you will receive your salary for the week of June 3 a day later than you are used to.

Whether you continue to receive payment on Whit Monday also depends on whether Monday is normally a working day for you. As in the example above, we manually assess whether you are entitled to continued payment. If you are entitled to continued payment of these public holidays, you will receive it at the same time as your salary for the week.

PEP

Do you work with PEP, our tool for online time registration? Then you only need to enter your worked hours. If you do not work on the holiday, you do not have to fill in anything. We will arrange this for you.
