Start recruitment & selection label: Active Select

Due to a growing demand, we have transferred our recruitment & selection services to the new label Actief Select . The label will operate alongside our existing broadcast Actief Werkt! and Actief Techniek . Actief Select specializes in the recruitment of highly educated professionals and managers, particularly for scarce and specialist positions in the logistics and transport, industry, retail, facility services, energy companies and the public sector sectors. The label operates nationally with a flexible network of consultants who go to candidates and clients.  

Active Select shows that long-term matches are made through personal collaboration with candidates and clients. Irina den Hartog, Senior Recruitment & Selection Consultant explains: “ It is often the case that recruiters search for CVs and then forward those CVs without direct contact with the people involved. Many headhunters also have a very direct way of approaching candidates. This is often perceived as impudent and annoying. It is our mission to show candidates and companies that things can be done differently and, above all, in a more personal way. ”  

Matching dates with personalities

Our recruiters from Actief Select make the connection between clients and candidates by linking data to personality. The client wants the right candidate for the open positions. These are often vacancies that are specialist or scarce or for candidates who fulfill a key position in an organization.

Den Hartog: “A new job is a major and exciting change in someone's life. Candidates leave their former employer, not knowing what they will get in return. It is our task to conduct an extensive vacancy intake with the company and especially with colleagues from the team where the vacancy is. We then convey a clear and honest story to the candidate, so that they are in their place for a long time when switching. We work with target group data to really know what motivates candidates. We therefore   a lot of attention to the right selection of a candidate with the right skills that match the vacancy and the client. ”  

This personal approach is characteristic of all our labels. Our starting point is that satisfied employees are the source of surprisingly good and personal service. And that is also what Actief Select strives for for its clients. Den Hartog: “We believe that people make the difference and should fit in with the objective of a position, if the right people are in the right place, then this contributes to the success of the organization. That is why we invest in relationships and we know our clients and candidates personally.”

 

Corona makes recruitment & selection extra challenging  

Den Hartog: “ In certain sectors, especially in times of corona, you have to do your best to make someone enthusiastic about a new job. There is a great need for personal attention for client and candidate. In broadcasting, we mainly focus on the fact that people are needed. In recruitment & selection, we look more at the goals of an organization, what a company needs and what type of candidate fits that. ”  

Recruitment & selection has been carried out successfully within our organization for some time now. Due to the growing demand for the selection of good candidates, Actief Select means more focus on this service. The label already achieves a fulfillment ratio of 87% for existing clients, most vacancies are filled within 45 days and 80% of the candidates who have been placed are still working in the same position after one year. Active Select works for large and international clients, among others, and already has great collaborations with the top 10 players of Actief Werkt .
