The Perspective Statement

Monday 3 September 2018

How does it work, what are the conditions and how do you request the statement?

The Perspective Statement looks at your future opportunities to earn an income. The statement is based on an analysis of your labor market position. In addition, the banks also attach importance to the opinion of the employment agency about your (future) employability. We do this by taking a critical look at your resume, work experience, references, previous assessments and personal conversations.

It is important to know that a perspective statement is not the same as an employer statement. In some cases, an employer's statement is sufficient. First, ask your mortgage advisor what you need.

Request perspective statement

A condition for applying for a perspective statement is that you have been working at Actief Werkt! for at least 1 year at the time of the application. The turnaround time for an application is a maximum of 3 weeks. Keep in mind that a complete and good file (references, assessments, interviews) does not automatically lead to the issuance of a prospect statement because the prospects on the labor market may be disappointing.

To avoid fines, it is important to wait with buying a house until you have the perspective statement in your possession. The perspective statement is valid for six months after issuance.

The perspective statement is accepted by the largest mortgage lenders, with the option of a National Mortgage Guarantee (NHG). These are ABN AMRO, Aegon, BLG Wonen, Florius, ING, Obvion, Rabobank, RegioBank and SNS.

You request the perspective statement via   Mijn Actief .
