As an employer of thousands of flex colleagues, we have always emphasized since the start of the corona crisis that the safety and health of our people and our clients comes first. We have continuously informed our people about the importance of following the guidelines and taking care of each other. And then there was the moment that we organize our annual Superpower pageant.
A moment we look forward to all year round! What could be better than the people you can always rely on, whom you can rely on, to put them in the spotlight? That is also the highlight of the campaign. The personal stories that our colleagues record when they nominate their best Superpower are heartwarming, the voting calls are fanatical, the check for the winner is beautiful, but the moments of surprise, that's what it's all about.
We would do it corona-proof. However, with the new measures it is precisely those moments that come under pressure. We are not going to the workplace now, with cake and cameras. Of course there are alternatives to this. We could surprise people online. It's possible, but it doesn't have the personal attention that is actually the heart of the Superpower contest, and what we stand for at Actief Werkt! .
For that reason, it has been decided to continue the Superpower election in the spring of 2021. We then pick up the thread again if possible, with the full personal attention that suits us. What's in the barrel doesn't sour, and we'll keep you posted.
