BBL carpenter training

Would you like to learn the carpentry trade so that you can eventually build your own home completely independently? We look forward to building your future together!

During the BBL Carpenter training (level 2) you will become acquainted with construction and all associated activities. For example, you learn how to set window frames, install walls, knowledge of materials, but also how to use various (electric) tools. With a diploma you can work with a job guarantee at a construction company around the corner.

BBL Trajectory Carpenter

The carpenter training lasts a total of two years. During the training you work four days a week at a recognized training company where a teacher will teach you carpentry in practice.

One day a week you go to school where you learn carpentry in theory. Topics such as dimensions, drawing reading and safety are discussed in detail and prepare you to apply this in practice!

During the four days that you work as an apprentice carpenter you will be paid in accordance with the Bouw & Infra CAO. This means that you are not only entitled to a salary, but also to fringe benefits such as no less than 20 ATV days (extra-statutory days off) and a travel allowance of € 0.32 cents per km.

If you have contact with a construction company where you can get to work, this is of course also possible. Is this company not yet a recognized training company? Then we ensure that the company is recognized as a training company.

Cost

The training is completely free! Books and tuition are paid in full by us. We also provide the necessary tools and you will receive a set of work clothes from us so that you can immediately start working as an apprentice carpenter.

Entry requirements

If you want to start with the BBL carpenter training (level 2), it is important that you have one of the following diplomas:

✓ VMBO diploma (basic vocational, senior vocational, mixed or theoretical learning track)
✓ Entrance training diploma

Do you not yet meet the requirements to start the BBL carpenter training? Then it is possible to follow the BBL training Assistant building, living and maintenance (Entree Bouw) as pre-education.

Future perspective

With your carpentry diploma in your pocket, you can immediately start working for a construction company in your area after your training! Are you already working for a construction company? Then this just continues.

Would you like to continue your studies? After this training you can continue your education for Allround Carpenter (level 3). During this two-year course, more independence is expected and you will have to carry out more complex assignments.
