Tip 1: more than a letter
Many companies are used to receiving a letter or short message as a job application. And there's nothing wrong with that at all. But if you really want to stand out, it's nice to approach your application in a more personal way. For example, you can call the company to ask some questions. A video application is particularly striking. Make a short video of yourself - if necessary simply with your smartphone - and tell us something about yourself and the reason for your application. Tip 2: the right match
Of course it is also important that the new job suits you well and that you know how to explain it. So don't just apply for every vacancy, but check carefully whether the job is suitable for you. The summer months and the holidays are usually the least convenient periods to apply (due to crowds or holidays). However, the best month to apply varies by industry. In education, for example, most vacancies appear from April to June.
In general, October, November, February and March are the months in which few details take place at companies. The coming months are therefore perfect for sending your application!
