The labor market is becoming more flexible
The Netherlands has an increasing number of flex workers; now about 3 million. This means that 1 in 3 workers has a flexible employment contract. More than 7,000 flex colleagues are at work every day via Actief Werkt! . Employers are increasingly opting for flexibility in their workforce to be able to respond smoothly to changing situations. While the labor market is becoming more flexible, the rules regarding flexible work are being adjusted at the same time so that flex workers can build up more security more quickly, which is a very good thing!
Appreciation for flex workers
With the Superkracht election we put flex workers and their work in a positive light. Ronald Kardol, director of Actief Werkt! , puts it this way: "The Dutch economy cannot do without flex workers. They are the "lubricating oil" that keeps the machine running. With this campaign we want to reinforce appreciation for flex workers!"
Of course we don't just do this with this election, but especially in contact with our flex colleagues every day. Ronald: "Our flex colleagues like to work with us. I tell every new consultant: 'Treat the flex colleagues the way you want to be treated yourself'."
A temporary job often turns out to be a stepping stone to a permanent job. It also offers the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at several companies . And at Actief Werkt! we are focused on training and developing flex colleagues. In this way you can increase your chances on the labor market through a temporary job. The superpower campaign therefore does justice to our flex colleagues, and to agency work in general.
Surprise in the workplace
Actief Werkt! more than 60 branches and in-house teams. Soon every branch will surprise its nominated flex colleague on the work floor. They are all Superpower 2019 and they are going to fight for the title. Ultimately, on November 6, one flex colleague will be named the best Superpower of 2019. But the most important thing that this campaign should underline: for Actief Werkt! , all flex colleagues are Superpowers.
