SROIA

Where do we really make the difference? After all, as a business service provider we do not produce, we are temporary employment agencies. advisors. mediators. With an eye for the people we mediate (the flex employee) and the people we serve (the client). That is why, within corporate social responsibility, our focus is on social involvement. For us it is therefore a priority to guide people to a job that suits them. Our expertise in the personal guidance of flex workers is a great opportunity.

Unfortunately, not everyone can work who would really like to. Practical obstacles such as transport problems, lack of training or certification are in practice good and relatively easy to solve. Sometimes obstacles are more difficult, they require more creativity, an open mind and a long breath.   More than 10% of our registered candidates come from the target group register, including the Job Agreement Act. They are included in the regular application process and, if necessary, supervised more intensively. With this we have already helped many to find a dream job. Guidance and coaching of candidates with a distance to the labor market is crucial. If sufficient time and personal attention is not paid to this, this is a risk with regard to completing SROI. This topic is high on our agenda. Together with the DOORZAAM foundation, we have trained sustainable employability specialists within our organization. They will be used for your organization. We see your current experiences as an opportunity to raise our cooperation to a higher level with the use of our two expertises.

Participation

We experience daily what work can mean for people. We therefore realize better than anyone that having a job is more than just having an income. Work also stands for participation in society, for 'making a difference'.   Like you, we believe that everyone counts. We are very involved in placing people with a (great) distance to the labor market and have years of experience in this. Our starting point is trust. We speak to and advise many candidates and where possible we guide them towards a new future. We encourage candidates to apply and provide them with intensive and personal guidance during the duration of these processes. We aim for positive behaviour, so that the candidate can take an extra step on the participation ladder every time.

We believe not only that every person has talent, but also that every talent deserves to be further developed. For this reason, we have developed the Sustainable Employability Specialist training together with the DOORZAAM Foundation. As a result, we have a team of specialists who have participated in this new training to become a specialist in Sustainable Employability. Coaching leadership, storytelling, group dynamics and various conversation and intervision techniques are central to this. This is one of the reasons why we can support you in achieving the quota in accordance with the Participation Act. We work out a smart step-by-step plan and follow it consistently for you. It is precisely in the field of Social Return that our core values 'personal, close by and doing' make the innovative difference in measurable results. It's about really connecting with each other. We also support schools with guest lectures and job application training. In our guest lectures, we pay a lot of attention to the subject of labor market development. Themes that are discussed are: going to work for the first time, part-time jobs, holiday work and career choice. We also periodically provide job application training for secondary and higher education. Education partners in this regard include Avans Hogeschool, Hogeschool Utrecht and various ROCs. In addition to providing information for students, we also provide information on the labor market for returnees to the labor market and status holders.

The added value of people over 56

Despite imminent shortages in various parts of the labor market, unemployed people aged 56 and over often find it very difficult to find work. That in itself is wry, because they have a large dose of life and work experience, are motivated and are not afraid to roll up their sleeves. But it is all the more sour against the background of an ever-moving retirement age, with people expected to continue working into old age. We have an eye for the added value that the over-56s can offer. We pay extra attention to this target group, encourage them to apply for a job and provide them with intensive guidance. In addition, we also provide insight into the benefits of this target group for our clients. This policy is bearing fruit. In the past three years (2016-2019), the number of people over 56 that we have successfully mediated has increased by 70%.

Fixed agreements with our clients

We have placed 20% of their total number of employees from Social Return at various clients. They work there to their full satisfaction. We gave a group of 20 employees a language course at the people's university. They had insufficient command of the Dutch language and therefore did not have many job opportunities. After following this training and their enthusiastic efforts, they were able to work for our clients. This training has given them a real chance of more happiness at work and a better future. We are proud of that!

National attention

What I always wanted to be - RTL4 In collaboration with RTL 4, a program has been developed in which fit and ambitious middle-aged people (experienced employees) are offered the opportunity to embark on a new and promising career path. These candidates experience a job for one day that matches their interests and capacities and where there are many job opportunities for both young and old. Education level, family situation or some other combination of circumstances placed our candidates in a different career path than the one of their dreams. They have experienced and learned a lot during their working life, which gives them very useful baggage. Now that they have been declared redundant, want to actively make a career switch or no longer 'must' but 'may', we help them to look for a new future.
