Our team is ready to help you

Have you, as a company, won a major project for a government agency? Or do you have the ambition to engage in corporate social responsibility as an organization? For SROI unburdening you have come to the right place at Actief!

What is SROI?

SROI (Social Return on Investment) is a method for measuring the social and societal contribution as part of an investment. The aim of SROI is to increase the labor participation of people with a distance to the labor market. Who exactly falls under the 'social return' target group varies per municipality and client. These are often people in a benefit situation who have little education or work experience.

SROI and tenders

Since 1 July 2011, the central government has established SROI as a contract condition for purchases and tenders. This measure means that people with a greater(er) distance from the labor market must also be used for tenders above €250,000.

As a company, have you signed a contract in which you agree to the SROI obligations, but are you not sure what these entail? We can imagine that you are mainly focused on carrying out an assignment. How should you meet SROI obligations? There is quite a lot involved, such as legislation and regulations, subsidies and other administrative matters.
