You can combine the BBL Street Maker training with a paid job in civil engineering. You learn to work with machines such as vibratory plates and knuckle mops. As a street maker you mainly work in the open air. You lay new paving and participate in repaving, repair, service and maintenance, ornamental paving, ground and sewerage work. You secure cables and pipes. The paving is laid in all kinds of patterns. You also adjust tires and gullies and carry out repairs. After paving, the pavement is swept in and vibrated. Together with a chieftain you form a couple and together you make good work and beautiful projects.
