Operator

As a cutting machine operator, you are responsible for operating, adjusting and maintaining the cutting machines. The working hours are during the day shift, Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and on Friday from 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM (times are in consultation). 

About the client

The company is a family business in Tilburg . They produce cardboard tubes. These tubes are used, for example, in cash register rolls, but also to put fabric around.

As an operator on a cutting machine, these are your responsibilities. 
- Operating the cutting machines and ensuring that the machines continue to work;
- Setting the cutting machines to the correct lengths and diameters of the order entered;
- Taking care of the supply of the tubes;
- Carrying out quality control. You check whether the tube meets the requirements and you register the size of the first and last tube; 
- Packaging the products according to the order specifications;
- Keeping the workshop and machines clean and tidy.

What we ask of you:

- You are available for at least 38 hours per week;
- You master the Dutch language, spoken and written;
- You are motivated and like to tackle things;
- You work accurately and independently;
- Preferably experience in metalworking.
