As a receptionist you are the first point of contact and the face of the location. You receive visitors and students with a smile on your face and provide them with something to drink. You also use your qualities to ensure that orders are placed on time and visitors are logged in/out in the access control system. For this position you are required to work two days a week (Thursday and Friday) from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This ensures that you still have enough time for the rest of the week to take up a fun hobby or other work, but because of your collegiality you have no problem occasionally filling in on the other days due to illness and/or vacation. . 

You sit alone behind the reception desk, but there is a lot of traffic from colleagues where you sit. You ensure that all visitors, students and colleagues are addressed and their questions are answered. You can do this, among other things, by maintaining good contact with suppliers. The questions are received physically and by email, but telephone calls are only received on Friday afternoons. This has to do with the fact that from Friday 1:00 PM the telephone will be forwarded from the head office to the location in Hoevelaken . Mail also comes in regularly, this must be taken to the right place. You also ensure that orders are always placed on time, so that stocks remain replenished. Here are the top three of your activities:

  • First point of contact for visitors, students and colleagues;
  • Management of the access control system;
  • Responsible for orders, collection/issue of mobile phones and incoming/outgoing mail.

The reception is the first view of the location. It is therefore important that it is kept neat/clean. Cleaning is taken care of by the cleaners, but you supervise this so that the reception always looks neat and tidy. 

About the client

You will work for a national facility service provider through Actief Werkt! employment agency. They provide support to various companies in the field of facility services. In this position you will work at an international organization. This organization is involved in information provision and offers software solutions to various companies in the business services sector. So you will be working at a software company in Hoevelaken . It is a nice building, where you immediately experience a warm feeling. 

What we offer you:

You will work on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This means that you have a working day of 8.5 hours. When you start here you can count on:

  • Gross salary between €2300 and €2600 gross per month based on 40 hours and depends on your work experience;
  • Travel allowance from 10 kilometers one way of €0.23 per kilometer or 100% public transport costs reimbursement; 
  • This is a long-term position with the prospect of a permanent appointment;
  • Choice of being paid weekly or four-weekly;
  • Possibility to follow training courses.

What we ask of you:

Your priority is to meet the wishes of visitors and provide excellent service. You also bring:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Teams and other common MS Office programs;
  • Good knowledge of both the Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
