Garbage loader

We've all heard it: "Honey, take out the trash!" But what actually happens after we take out the bin or throw the rubbish in the bin? As a garbage collector or loader, you are the first to ensure that the neighborhoods remain nice, clean and tidy. Starting early means finishing early. While enjoying a cup of coffee, you discuss which driver you will be riding with that day. Once on the car, you go through the different neighborhoods on different routes and ensure that the outside waste is taken away on time. 

This is what your working day looks like:

• Loading the vehicle
• Loading household and commercial waste
• Assisting the driver

Because you are rescheduled every week, it is important that you are flexible. You will receive your schedule showing your working days and hours approximately one week in advance. The number of hours per week can vary from 8 to 36 hours, but if you do your best you have a chance of being scheduled more often.

There is also room to work with us on an on-call basis. So if you are looking for a part-time job for a few hours a week in addition to your other job or education, you are also very welcome to apply!

What we offer you:

• A flexible job from approximately 16 hours a week to, depending on the schedule, 36 hours

What we ask of you:

You work in the open air and this can be very refreshing, but unfortunately the sun does not always shine Nederland . So that means that you will be working in the warm sun, rain and the cold. You will also get plenty of exercise and cover a lot of kilometers. It is important that you can handle this.

We also ask: 

• Command of the Dutch language
• Own transport
• Living in or the vicinity of Middelburg or Vlissingen
