Logistics employee

As a store employee at Schiphol , you play a central role in the logistics processes and are responsible for stocking the stores at the airport.

Your tasks are varied and include:

• Checking and processing incoming emails.
• Manage product inventory through inventory.
• Timely replenishment of store stocks and placing orders.
• Maintaining the store environment and implementing price changes.
• Troubleshooting and processing negative stock lists.
• Checking the stores, including empty shelves and overall appearance.

This organization manages two warehouses: one in Hoofddorp and one at Schiphol . Your job is to ensure that the warehouse at Schiphol always has sufficient stock. You do this by keeping track of stock and placing orders at the warehouse in Hoofddorp on time, so that the stores are replenished on time.

About the client

You will work for our client located in Schiphol . You will work at a retailer specialized in perfume, cosmetics, sunglasses and drugstore products for the Travel Retail market. The working environment is dynamic and international, with a strong focus on creating a pleasant experience for passengers in the stores.

This role is a 35 hour per week position spread over five days from Monday to Sunday. Een part-time position of four days (28 hours) is also possible, if desired.

What we ask of you:

• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics position;
• Willingness to apply for a (VGB), the costs for this will be reimbursed;
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekend shifts (no night shifts);
• Excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both oral and written.

In this position you work behind customs, which means that you must meet the screening requirements of the Military Police, including at least 8 years of continuous residence in Nederland and no criminal record.
