Planner

We are looking for a Work Planner who feels at home in a sustainable and green environment. In this role you are mainly concerned with translating requests from potential applications into well-substantiated calculations. It is important that you work very accurately. Your technical knowledge enables you to assess requests and, if necessary, apply improvements in consultation with customers. When an order is confirmed, you ensure a good transfer to your colleagues, so that the entire process for the customer runs as smoothly as possible. As an intermediary, you remain involved for questions or possible changes to the project. 

About the client

Our client is located in Hazerswoude-Dorp and they would like to make the world a little greener. They do this by developing and installing innovative irrigation systems for, for example, green walls, gardens and swimming paradises at home and abroad. These systems can be managed remotely, so that they can provide the customer with peace of mind remotely. They also offer solutions for cultivation floors, wind barriers and water storage.

What are you going to do?

• You consult with clients about technical aspects and, if necessary, request quotes from suppliers
• By making technical drawings, collecting necessary information and carrying out calculations, you prepare thoroughly substantiated quotations
• You translate complex technical issues into understandable customer advice and offer customized irrigation solutions, with smart use of rainwater reuse when possible
• After acceptance of the quotation, you are responsible for the work preparation process and you remain the most important commercial point of contact for the customer
• You see commercial opportunities and know how to motivate and convince customers and colleagues with strong arguments

What we ask of you:

• Experience in consulting with customers and suppliers on technical aspects of projects
• Familiarity with preparing technical drawings and carrying out calculations for quotations
• Ability to translate complex technical issues into understandable customer advice
• Knowledge of irrigation systems or willingness to learn
• At least a completed MBO education in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, technical business administration or similar
