Passenger Assistant

Are you:

1. Available from Monday to Friday from 4:45 am (at least 3 days a week)?
2. Someone who likes to speak to others and offer help? 
3. Have you lived in Nederland for at least 8 years? 
4. Do you speak Dutch and English well? 

Do you answer all questions with 'Yes'? Then you are most likely the candidate we are looking for. As a Passenger Assistant at Schiphol you have an important task and, among other things, you are responsible for supporting the overall passenger process in the terminal at Schiphol . 

You start with a starting salary of €14.46/hour, which can increase to €27.47/hour with allowances for evenings, nights and weekends. After a paid two-day training you can get started. Public transport and car costs are reimbursed!

Your responsibilities:

• Accompanying passengers during transfers and passport controls
• Managing queues and facilitating the terminal
• Incident management; 
• Safety supervision; 
• Carrying out other facility activities.

As a Passenger Assistant you work through employment agency Actief Werkt! at Schiphol , where your involvement makes the difference in the travel experience of passengers.

• Basic salary of €14.46/hour, increasing to €27.47/hour;
• Surcharges for morning, evening, night and weekend shifts between 130% and 190%;
• 100% reimbursement for public transport travel costs, otherwise € 0.22 / km (maximum € 22.00 / day);

What we ask of you:

• Very good command of the Dutch and English language.
• Availability of at least 3 weekdays from 4:45 am.

NB! A Schiphol Pass is required before starting employment at Schiphol , which may take several weeks.
