Tree care goes beyond just pruning. As an arborist you are responsible for the conservation and health of trees in the region Roermond . You will have the opportunity to increase your knowledge and apply it in various areas, from tree biology to safety measures at height.

Your main responsibility is to maintain, care for and preserve trees in the region Roermond . You can achieve this by working on:

• Thorough knowledge of tree biology and ecology, including identification of tree species, growth patterns, and diagnosis of tree diseases and pests.
• Mastery of tree care techniques such as pruning, transplanting, and disease treatment.
• Safety comes first, with proficiency in climbing techniques and compliance with safety standards.
• Efficient management of tree care equipment.

Tasks include:

• Tree maintenance and pruning work.
• Safe removal of trees that are dead, dangerous, diseased or unwanted.
• Transplantation of mature trees from one location to another.
• Diagnosis and treatment of tree diseases, pests and other health problems.
• Thorough inspections of trees to identify potential risks.
• Providing expert advice on tree management, tree selection, tree planting and landscape design.
• Shredding and clearing of green waste after completed work.
• Felling and clearing work, milling out tree roots, installing root screens and tree coverings.

• Experience in tree care or similar field.
• In possession of a VCA certificate (this can possibly be obtained in the first months).
