Glazier apprentice

Experience is not necessary for this vacancy, but it is important that you are willing to learn a trade. From day one you will be paired with a very experienced glazier, someone who will gradually teach you the tricks of the trade. You do this by installing various types of glass on all kinds of projects and locations. For example, you can consider installing large glasswork in a large barn house, replacing single glazing with triple glazing to make a home more sustainable or installing fire-resistant and safety glass in a large apartment building. Installing glass also involves other activities such as measuring and cutting glass to size, removing old glass, rebates, sealant and repairing wood damage (such as wood rot). The bottom line is that no day is the same and that your working day is over just like that.

• Preferably a driving license B, but you can also drive with colleagues;
• In possession of a VCA diploma (or willing to obtain it free of charge via Actief Techniek )
