Team manager

Then DHL has the challenge for you: become a Capacity Planning Team Manager at the Network Control Center, the beating heart of DHL. In this role we are looking for someone who can advise various stakeholders and think strategically about the sorting processes.

What will you do as Team Manager:

As a Team Manager you are responsible for capacity planning and focus on optimizing and advising the sorting processes. You do this together with a team of four network specialists, whom you directly manage. You work closely with the operation and with various departments such as Sales, IT, customer service and customers. You are also responsible for:

• Maintaining valuable relationships with colleagues within and outside the operation.
• Inspiring, motivating and coaching your team to get the best out of themselves.
• Constantly striving to improve and optimize processes within your team and the entire operation.

You are the direct point of contact for your team and other colleagues in the department.

• A salary between €3587.74 and €5119.50 gross per month based on 40 hours depending on your knowledge & experience.

What we ask of you:

As a Team Manager you are a real team player who can maintain an overview and make decisions. With your strong communication skills, you know how to motivate your team, convince the operation and customers. You also have: 

• An HBO or WO level of thinking and working. 
• You have at least 5 years of managerial experience in transport and logistics.
• Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English languages.
