Student operator

Do you want to develop or retrain as an operator? At Actief this is possible! It does not matter what previous education you have followed or what profession you have. The most important thing is your motivation! 

At Biscuit International you can be trained internally from a production employee to an operator. As an operator you are an important link in making the product. The activities you will perform on a daily basis are:

• Set up and adjust machines;
• Checking orders for the presence of materials and consumables;
• Carrying out quality checks on the cookies produced;
• Intervene where necessary and report malfunctions;
• Carrying out maintenance on machines;
• Follow the HACCP guidelines.

Would you rather be trained as an operator with a recognized MBO diploma? This is also possible! We also offer the training of operator A and B (MBO levels 2 and 3). While following this course, you will start working at Biscuit International and will be supervised at your workplace by a teacher. In addition to work, you are busy with your studies. You can opt for a complete home study or a study where you go to school 1 day a week. This way you earn your salary while following your training, you work and learn at the same time! Biscuit International is a European bakery group specialized in the production of biscuits, bread substitutes and toast. The production of cookies is located in Rucphen , such as classics such as stroopwafels, speculaas and ginger cookies. They focus on private label products and on a number of wonderful brands such as Haust, Kanjers, Buys, Bussink and Brinky. The Dutch cake and biscuit market is a thriving industry and includes a wide range of traditional and innovative sweet treats. 

What we offer you:

• A starting salary of € 15.46 excluding shift allowance;
• Trained as an operator? Then your gross hourly wage increases to € 16.20 per hour excluding shift allowance;
• Surcharge of 38% in the evenings and nights (you then earn € 22.36 per hour when you are trained);
• No tuition costs,  because Actief Werkt! reimburses the training;
• Books, clothing and personal protective equipment are also charged to Actief ;
• You immediately put into practice what you learn in your training;
• Travel allowance from 10 kilometers one way, you will receive  € 0.23 cents per kilometer;

What we ask of you:

• Motivated to be trained as an operator;
• Technical insight, solution and quality-oriented;
• Willing to rotate in a 3 shift system;
• Command of the Dutch language. 

Are you opting for the MBO course? Then you gain both theoretical and practical experience. You can take the theory lessons at a recognized MBO school in your area. The lessons are given both in the classroom and online and you can gain practical experience at Biscuit International. The operator A and B training consists of 3 phases and you must be prepared to follow them!
