Production Foreman

As a Production Foreman at Spaansen Bouwsystemen, you lead the Facade Ready team and ensure that production orders are executed efficiently. You are responsible for optimal staffing, managing employees and controlling production output. You also contribute to process improvements and ensure a safe working environment.

Leading a production team requires not only technical knowledge, but also communication skills and a proactive attitude. At Spaansen you will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership qualities and contribute to the growth of our company. Further work includes:

• orders the necessary materials;
• assesses the weekly plans for feasibility and feasibility;
• plans and manages the pointing work in both production and on the construction sites in consultation with the external jointers, the Facade Ready service coordinator and, if necessary, project leaders;
• identifies shortcomings in the process or the material/equipment and ensures constant improvement of the production process, products and production resources (efficiency, quality and well-being);
• Together with the Operator, provides 1st line support in the event of malfunctions and is a backup for employees in their absence;
• contributes to the further development of the product and process of the Facade Ready concept;
• ensures compliance with safety regulations and correct use of personal protective equipment;
• carries out administrative tasks and is responsible for personnel tasks (such as performance reviews, absenteeism guidance, remuneration, correction interviews, etc.), possibly in consultation with the Facade Ready Manager and/or HR department.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Willingness to work on Saturdays and perform on-call shifts.

What we ask of you:

As a production foreman you bring the following with you:

• MBO 4 working and thinking level, preferably a completed technical education;
• Knowledge of and experience with robot technology is an advantage;
• In possession of VCA VOL and forklift certificate or you are willing to obtain this via Actief Werkt ;
• Demonstrable leadership skills and organizational talent.
