ONECare sales specialist

Then Ocean Network Express has the challenge for you! Get started as an Inside Sales Specialist in the heart of Rotterdam. For the ONECare Sales Specialists team, they are looking for someone who is sales-driven and wants to focus on developing customers.

What does the role as Inside Sales Specialist look like:

Together with the team of 4 Inside Sales Specialists, you are responsible for ONE's SME customers. You report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and you work closely with your colleagues in the Customer Service departments. In this role you are responsible for, among other things, contractual matters of SME customers, from a quotation to contract submission in the OPUS system. And you train your customers in the use of the self-service tools offered by ONE and you always assist your customers when they have questions.

Your most important tasks:

• Retaining and expanding the customer base by following up on leads and building valuable relationships.
• Promoting self-service tools, where you convince the customer of the added value for their company.
• You are the escalation point for customers to resolve complex matters.
• You are responsible for contract-related matters.
• You will support Ocean Network Express' digital transformation by promoting our e-commerce platform.

About the client

Ocean Network Express (ONE) was founded on July 7, 2017 after integrating the scheduled services of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha ("K" LINE), Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). The new entity will have its global headquarters in Singapore, supported by regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil.

• A salary depending on education and experience.
• A full-time job for 38.75 hours per week. 4 days is negotiable!
• 26 vacation days per year + a monthly salary as vacation pay.
• A travel allowance of €0.21 per kilometer with a maximum of €200 per month.
• A full monthly salary as a 13th month.
• The possibility to work from home for two days when you work full-time.
• Home work allowance of €2 per day.
• Pension via PGB.

What we ask of you:

As a person, you are someone who has a commercial mindset, is flexible and creative with problem solutions and you are someone who can work well in a team. We also ask you: 

• A completed HBO or MBO-4 course in the field of commerce or transport & logistics 
• At least 2-3 years of experience in transport and logistics or in a commercial position. 
• You master the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
