Internal sales representative

Are you ready for a challenging role in which diversity is central? As an office salesperson, you will be challenged with a wide range of products requested by customers. Your job is to ensure that customers feel understood and to come up with solutions together with them. Do you strive to deliver the desired product to the customer, exactly as they envision it? What are you going to do?

• In collaboration with the team, you ensure that cost price calculations are provided to customers or to the sales department in a timely manner;
• You check the supplied drawings and collect missing data if necessary, both from the seller and the client;
• You determine which material is needed and translate your calculations and material specifications into a clear cost estimate;
• You also transfer budget information to the project management department and compile accompanying and calculation information;
• You act as an advisor to customers, providing both solicited and unsolicited advice regarding their quote requests;
• Together with the team, you ensure a streamlined quotation procedure.

You also contribute to optimizing processes and procedures together with your colleagues. You check the quotations of your colleagues and monitor the progress of the quotation process. If necessary, you contact customers by telephone whose quotation remains unanswered for too long and you ensure a smooth transfer to the project managers. Before you start working as an internal sales representative, you will receive an extensive induction process. Here you will gain extensive product knowledge and become acquainted with the various types of products and the associated technical aspects. You can get this by, among other things, going on installation with the technicians and through a presentation by one of your new colleagues.

The organization you will be working for has been active in various types of wall systems for over 50 years. The growing range offers endless variations in functionality, sound insulation and appearance. The walls can be found everywhere from office buildings and village halls to large exhibition halls. 

What we offer you:

• A challenging working week of 37.5 hours;

• A salary indication between € 2,750 - € 3,800 per month, depending on experience;

What we ask of you:

• An MBO working and thinking level;
• Several years of work experience as a calculator or in a commercial office position;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
