Commercial vehicle mechanic

As a Commercial Vehicle Mechanic, you are the expert who carries out maintenance work and repairs on the company fleet of Municipality Utrecht . You see what the problem is and with your knowledge and skills the car will quickly be back on the road. Your tasks:

• Resolving complex faults, both mechanical and electrical.
• Carrying out maintenance work on heavy commercial vehicles, towed materials and/or appendages.
• Working on fuel systems, transmission systems, braking systems, engine condition, electrical systems, wheel alignment and tires.

Your working day starts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM, where you can indicate your preference. With a 38-hour working week you have room for a good work-life balance. About once every 4-5 weeks we work on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. In addition, you have a breakdown service approximately once every 4-5 weeks.

What we ask of you:

As a commercial vehicle mechanic, it is important that you work accurately and can switch well between work assignments. In addition:

• Completed training as a commercial vehicle technician (1st/2nd) or technical specialist (APK is an advantage) or be willing to obtain this
• Affinity with heavy commercial vehicles, trucks, sweepers and landscaping machines
• Experience in diagnosing mentioned vehicle types
• Pleasant in dealing with customers and colleagues
• Affinity with heavy commercial vehicles
