With us you decide when you are available, from Monday to Friday. We tailor our planning accordingly, even if you are only looking for work for a short period. At Blink in Helmond you are very welcome to start as a garbage employee, even if you do not fully master the Dutch language.

As a garbage employee, you will work with a driver and other colleagues to collect waste, both in surrounding municipalities and in Helmond itself. The drivers leave at 7:15 am, so your working day starts at 7:00 am with a cup of coffee before you hit the road together. You work until the route is completed, usually between 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

You will start working at Blink via Actief Werkt! . Blink takes care of the waste processing of 9 municipalities in the region Helmond . At Blink you will work at a company where the employee always comes first.

What we offer you:

• Salary of €16.23 gross per hour (from 21 years). 
• For younger employees: €11.95 for 18-year-olds, €13.63 for 19-year-olds and €14.70 gross per hour for 20-year-olds
• Pension accrual from the first working day
• Travel allowance from 10 kilometers (€0.21 per kilometer)
• 25 vacation days (on a full-time basis)
• Flexible working hours, both part-time and full-time negotiable
• Work outdoors with lots of physical activity
• Possibility to start even if the Dutch language is not fully mastered, with options for Dutch language courses

Do you dream of becoming a driver and would you like to drive the garbage truck yourself? All we ask of you is a valid B driving license? If you perform well, we offer you the opportunity to obtain your C and E driving license including Code 95 for FREE. After signing a study agreement, your training will start. If you pass, you will have a permanent full-time job in no time!

What we ask of you:

• You are in good physical condition. 
• You master the Dutch or English language. 
• You live in the area of Helmond , Deurne , Laarbeek , Gemert , Bakel , Boekel , Lierop , or Lieshout .
