Cleaner Schiphol

As a cleaner at Schiphol you are responsible for:

• Cleaning sanitary facilities, both before and after customs.
• Empty the trash cans.
• Mopping and keeping the floors clean.
• Fulfilling a hospitable role towards passengers and answering questions in a friendly and correct manner.

About the client

You will work for our client Hago Airport Services. Please note that you cannot get started immediately at Schiphol . We must first submit a request to the Royal Military Police for your Schiphol pass. This procedure can take 4 to 6 weeks. As soon as you have received the Declaration of No Objection (VGB) from the Royal Military Police, you can pick up your Schiphol Pass and start immediately.

As a cleaner you can work from Monday to Sunday in 3 different shifts: 

• Morning shift from 6:30 AM - 2:15 PM
• Afternoon service from 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
• Evening/night shift from 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

What we offer you:

• A starting salary of € 13.42 per hour from 20 years and older;
• Surcharges for working hours on weekday evenings and nights are 130%;
• Surcharges for working hours on weekends during the day are 130% and on weekend evenings and nights 150%;
• Travel allowance of €0.11 per km up to a maximum of €6.60 per day;
• Possibility to obtain an official RAS cleaning diploma through training opportunities;
• Weekly payment on Tuesdays or every four weeks and an end-of-year bonus of 5% in 2024 after six months of employment;
• Pension accrual from the first working day.

What we ask of you:

• Good command of the Dutch or English language;
• Available at least 3 days a week, preferably also 1 day at the weekend;
• Have lived in Nederland for at least 8 years to apply for your VGB and Schiphol pass.
