Compliance & Documentation Specialist in the food industry

We are looking for a Compliance & Documentation Specialist to replace you during maternity leave; This is a temporary position from June to November.

As a Compliance & Documentation Specialist you are responsible for managing end product and raw material specifications in the SAP-PLM system. You have a lot of contact with both internal and external departments to obtain and maintain the necessary information. The specifications are drawn up in accordance with National and European food legislation and serve as input for the content of the labels.

In addition, you are also responsible for completing customer portals and questionnaires; You are also the point of contact for customer solutions regarding product-technical customer questions.

This is a European position with close colleagues in Antwerp; regular travel to Antwerp is therefore desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Management of raw material and end product specifications in the SAP database.
• Direct contact with the Research and Development and Quality department regarding the information in the end product specifications.
• Direct contact with suppliers to provide raw material information.
• Processing the information with attention to details and in accordance with legislation.
• Updating existing documentation according to BRC/IFS requirements.
• Processing recipe changes within the set deadlines.
• Responsible for providing legal label information.
• Providing product information for customers.
• Completing customer questionnaires and online portals.
• Assisting customers with product-specific questions.

About the client

The company you will be working for is an international leader in bakery ingredients. At the production location in Goes they produce various types of jam, fillings and glazes based on fruit, chocolate and dairy. These products are purchased by various (large) brands and processed into well-known cookies, pastries, desserts and/or ice creams.

At our location in Goes we produce fillings, various types of jam and glazes that are used in products such as cakes, ice cream, small pastries, desserts, etc. We do this with approximately 165 employees. Every year we produce 26,000 tons of fillings and glazes and this is sold worldwide.

What we offer you:

• A full-time working week of 40 hours (part-time is negotiable)
• You earn between €3300 and €3500 gross per month.
• €0.21 cents commuting mileage allowance.
• Tunnel costs reimbursement when you come from Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.

What we ask of you:

As a Compliance & Documentation Specialist you strive for results. 

In addition, you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences/Chemistry/Dietitian or equivalent experience required
• Command of the Dutch and English language 
• Good knowledge of Excel 
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage 
• Willingness to work in Antwerp
