Forklift driver

We are looking for motivated employees who are ready to enter the world of logistics as a forklift driver. Whether you already have experience as a certified forklift driver or you do not yet have a certificate, we offer an opportunity for everyone. With us it is not important whether you already have a certificate, because we are willing to train you to become a forklift driver for free. As a forklift driver you are an important link within the team and you contribute to a smooth logistics process. You work closely with your colleagues and are flexible to meet the fluctuating demand within the organization. 

What are you going to do?

• Loading and unloading trucks and containers using a forklift/reach truck;
• Moving and storing goods in the warehouse;
• Checking stock levels and reporting any deviations;
• Compliance with safety regulations and procedures;

In addition to your duties as a forklift driver, you are also prepared to perform other logistics tasks if necessary. This can vary from order picking and packaging to assisting with loading and unloading goods using other means of transport.

About the client

We recruit for various companies in the region Waalwijk , therefore the work locations and working hours vary for this logistics position. These are companies where you can work as a forklift driver and where you can gain a lot of experience and knowledge. Working hours are flexible and can be tailored to your preferences. In the long term, you are the one who is familiar with all logistics processes. Career opportunities within the company are therefore often available. What we offer you:

• A salary based on age and experience;
• If you work in shifts, you will receive a shift allowance (depending on the company);
• Prospect of permanent employment at the company itself;
• Choice of being paid weekly or 4-weekly.

What we ask of you:

• You have communication skills in Dutch and/or English;
• You are looking for an employer to settle with for a longer period of time;
• You live in Waalwijk or surroundings;
• Experience is a plus but not a requirement.
