Driver C

As Driver C at the blood bank in Nijmegen you play an essential role in the logistics process. You ensure that blood and plasma products are delivered as planned, so you directly contribute to healthcare.

Your main responsibility is to ensure that all blood and plasma products are delivered on time and according to procedures. 

You can achieve this by working on:

• Collection, loading and transport of blood and plasma products;
• Delivering diagnostic samples and materials to various locations;
• Correct delivery and unloading of products to internal and external customers;
• Carrying out administrative tasks, such as trip and vehicle administration.

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00/10:00 to 17:00 or 17:00 to 02:00. There is a rotation system, in which you work day shifts one week and night shifts the following week. This means that everyone is equally entitled to night allowances. The transport area is from Nijmegen , all of Nederland . The shifts are planned in such a way that the round falls exactly within your shift. Overtime hardly occurs and the schedule is divided every 4 weeks.

What we ask of you:

We are looking for someone who:

• Is in possession of a driving license C and code 95;
• Has driving experience with large equipment;
• Have an affinity with the healthcare sector and working in a GMP environment is an advantage;
• Is physically able to perform heavy work;
• Speaks and writes good Dutch.

You are also flexible in working hours (day and night shifts) and you can work independently.
