Junior engineer W utility construction

What are you going to do?

As a Draftsman/Engineer you are involved in the engineering and preparation of various projects within the utility. You are responsible for designing, 3D modeling and drawing of the mechanical installations. You also analyze the existing drawings, identify possible obstacles and communicate these within the project team. When necessary, you take care of the revision of drawings.

They have been a well-known household name in region Friesland for more than 60 years with a wide range of services in the business, industrial and private markets. Their reputation is built on craftsmanship, reliability and customer focus. Currently, approximately 250 employees within the entire organization work on various projects such as renovation of nursing homes, new construction of football stadiums, new construction of swimming pool and maintenance work at government office buildings. 

What we offer you:

• An annual contract with the prospect of permanent employment or direct contract with our client;
• A salary between € 2,800 and € 3,200 as a prospective Draftsman/Engineer W;
• Secondary employment conditions in accordance with the Metal and Technology Collective Labor Agreement, e.g. 25 vacation days and 13 ADV Days;
• An internal training program to become a Draftsman/Engineer W, whereby we reimburse the costs for courses to be followed;

What we ask of you:

• A completed MBO education in installation technology, mechanical engineering or similar;
• Some experience in a position as a draftsman is an advantage;
• Knowledge or affinity with programs such as Revit, AutoCad, Stabicad and the willingness to master this software;
• A passion for designing and modeling installations and the ambition to develop yourself further in this area.
