Technical assistant

As a Technical Refractory Employee you are active in the day shift at the Oven Service of the Blast Furnaces. This team ensures that there is continuous tapping from the oven by supplying refractory gutters to the production teams. You start the working day together with your colleagues during the daily morning meeting, where you discuss the action points, questions and solutions for that day with the entire factory. As a Fireproof Technical Employee you perform the following tasks:

• Prepare and carry out maintenance according to the documentation.
• Resolving malfunctions in collaboration with the shift staff.
• Accurately carrying out demolition work using a large excavator.
• Formwork, filling and repairing hot gutters.
• Operating powerful excavators, forklifts and a (small) shovel to perform efficient work.
• Immerse yourself in the dynamic field of refractory ceramics.

•  You preferably have an MBO 2 diploma in a technical field
•  You are in possession of a driving license B
