As an administrative assistant/office employee at our client in Leiden , you will have the opportunity to play an important role in supporting daily operational activities.

Your tasks include:

  • Coordination and control of contracts, ensuring that they meet requirements and are drawn up in good order.
  • Ordering office supplies, maintaining records management systems and performing basic accounting duties.
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents.
  • Archiving and retrieving business documents, records and reports.
  • Open and sort incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence with routing questions.

You will work for our client in Leiden , a global leader in sustainability. They provide science-based solutions and services to improve food safety, maintain clean and safe environments, and optimize water and energy use. You will work in a diverse and pleasant working environment where teamwork and innovation are central.

The working days are from Monday to Friday, of which Wednesday and Thursday are mandatory office days, other days are allowed at home.

What we offer you:

  • A gross hourly wage of €19.71;
  • Flexibility in working hours, with the option to work partly from home;

What we ask of you:

  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
  • Ability to plan & multitask well;
  • Independence and proactive problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
