Glazier apprenticeship program

From day one you will be paired with a very experienced glazier, someone who will gradually teach you the tricks of the trade. You do this by installing various types of glass on all kinds of projects and locations. For example, you can consider installing large glass in a barn house, replacing single glazing with triple glazing to make a home more sustainable or installing fire-resistant and safety glass in a large apartment building. Installing glass also involves other activities such as measuring and cutting glass to size, removing old glass, rebates, sealant and repairing wood damage (such as wood rot). The bottom line is that no day is the same and that your working day is over just like that.

What we ask of you:

The most important requirement in our vacancy is that you are motivated and are up for a challenge as a glazier. Soft requirements are:

• At least one year of experience in a technical profession;
• Social skills to communicate properly with your colleagues and customers;
• Driving license B and own transport (advantage);
• VCA basis (or prepare to obtain this for FREE via Actief Techniek! ).
