Employee Landscaping

As part of the landscaping team at Stadsbeheer Maastricht , you work on the maintenance and development of green environments. You start your day at the head office with a cup of coffee, where you discuss the day's planning with your colleagues and collect the necessary tools. Then you and your team go outside to get started.

As a Green Facility employee you are responsible for various tasks, including:

• Carrying out various maintenance work on green areas.
• Construction and maintenance of various accommodations, green and recreational facilities, and cemeteries, including planting work.
• Operate advanced vehicles, tools and equipment necessary for the job.
• Carrying out maintenance tasks on green areas, such as pruning, minor tree maintenance, weed control, replenishing plants, and other tasks within City Maintenance.
• Availability for work during emergencies.
• Anti-slip measures during the winter months.

• A job with a nice starting salary of €15.88 per hour.
• Working hours from 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• A surcharge of 20% if you start between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
• An additional surcharge of 40% on Saturdays.

What we ask of you:

• Willingness to participate in emergency shifts according to schedule.
• Good professional and plant knowledge.
• In possession of a driving license B (E and T is an advantage).
• Availability from Monday to Saturday.
• Available from April.
• Completed MBO level 2 and/or 3 training, preferably in the field of green management.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and flexible.
• Team player.
