What does the job involve? As a site employee you work closely with 10 colleagues on our storage site. Together you ensure that the ramps, dragline mats and construction fences are ready for rental, so that they can be loaded and unloaded quickly and safely. Your tasks are very diverse and include:

• Collaborate with colleagues to work safely and efficiently;
• Operating various machines, including excavators, aerial platforms, forklifts, shovels, mini diggers and gantry cranes;
• Rolling steel road plates;
• Burning, welding, repairing and marking bulkheads and road plates.

About the client

This company is a well-known name in the Randstad and far beyond when it comes to renting out road plates, dragline mats and construction fences. They have been doing this for more than 115 years, currently with about 25 enthusiastic employees in Rotterdam .

What we ask of you:

• Preferably in possession of a VCA basic safety certificate, or the willingness to obtain this;
• Demonstrable experience in operating machines such as an excavator, forklift, shovel and portal crane;
• Physically strong, in good condition and handy at handyman work;
• Preference for outdoor work, regardless of the season;
• In possession of a driving license B;
• Able to keep up with simple administrative tasks;
• You live in the region Rotterdam ; 
• Good command of the Dutch language.
