Team Leader Production

As a team leader you will play a vital role in the success of the cheese factory by ensuring that all production lines are managed safely and hygienically. You lead a team of operators, packing employees and transport employees, set priorities within the team and optimize the production process. You are active in the 2-shift system (05:00 - 14:00 / 13:15 - 22:15) and you mainly work on the work floor, where you are clearly visible to employees and remain involved in the process.

Your tasks include:

• Leading a team of 35 permanent and flexible employees.
• Act as the first point of contact for malfunctions and quality questions, and collaborate with other departments.
• Checking the execution during the production process and coaching and motivating employees.
• Participate in meetings and accurately record hours worked.

About the client

Our client is a cheese factory in Woerden . They do not make the cheese themselves, but process it into cubes of cheese, grated cheese and cheese spread. These products are exported to more than 30 countries. Innovation and development are an essential part of their business strategy.

What we ask of you:

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level
• Good command of the Dutch language
• Demonstrable managerial experience in a production environment
• Preferably experience in the food industry
• Proactive attitude and willingness to improve production processes
