Industrial estate security officer

As a mobile security officer you are on the road both during the day and at night. Your working day starts at the head office where you pick up the work car. Then you go out with a cup of coffee (or tea) to check your route. Your surveillance car is also your office, equipped with all necessary communication tools. As a security employee you are responsible for various tasks, including opening rounds, fire and closing rounds, inspection rounds and alarm follow-ups at various buildings and industrial estates. You identify suspicious situations and behavior at an early stage and report this. Whether it concerns a false alarm or an actual burglary, you ensure that the situation is under control. This position requires independence and a strong personality, as you often act on your own initiative.

A professional approach and effective communication with the client, visitors and the authorities (police) are essential in this role. As the face of the company, a neat and confident attitude is very important. Since safety does not have a nine-to-five mentality, flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts, including day, evening, night and weekend shifts from Monday to Sunday, is necessary.

Of course, some flexibility also includes some compensation. In addition to the excellent basic salary, you will receive various allowances: 
10% in the evening
20% at night 
35% on weekends

Our client is a security organization located in Ommen and Zwolle . It is an organization with a regional focus and a flat structure. By staying closely connected to the practice, the team immediately offers innovative and tailor-made security solutions.

What we offer you:

• Pension accrual from day one; 
• 8.33% holiday pay on your hours worked; 
• Irregularity allowance; 10% in the evening, 20% at night, 35% on weekends;
• An excellent starting salary of €15 gross per hour. Have you completed your security guard training? Then you start at € 16.01
• Travel allowance of €0.23 cents per kilometer;
• Training as a security guard, paid for by the client; 
• View of permanent employment. 

What we ask of you:

• You are in possession of BHV, or willing to obtain it;
• Flexibly available from Monday to Sunday for day, evening and night; 
• Good command of the Dutch language;
• You are in possession of at least a valid driving license B and have at least 1 year of driving experience;
• Living within a radius of 30 kilometers around Zwolle .
