Planner

As a transport planner you are the key to smooth logistics. You ensure that all the pieces of the puzzle fall together, so that the driver, customer and your colleagues know exactly what awaits them during the day. Your communication skills will come in handy here! This full-time position offers variable working hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Your duties as a planner include:

• Planning road transport, including efficient arrangement of goods in trailers;
• Drawing up and checking consignment notes for outgoing and incoming goods;
• Releasing and administratively preparing orders;
• Maintaining logistics administration in the ERP system.

The client is an independent family business with more than three decades of experience as a leading supplier of high-quality steel. Customers in construction, industry and infrastructure rely on quality, reliability and excellent service from the client. In the modern warehouse and office area in Sneek , advanced technologies and logistics systems are used. They also have a showroom where customers can view the products.

• A salary based on the Collective Labor Agreement for Technical Wholesale;

What we ask of you:

As a planner you take the following with you: 

• Excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
• Working and thinking level at MBO level;
• Good knowledge of topography;
• Being able to navigate quickly within an ERP system;
• Experience in a similar position as a planner.
