As a logistics employee you are at home in all markets. You are responsible for collecting orders from customers, both in the warehouse and on the outside area. You will also help our customers at the counter. You speak to them, give advice and ensure proper handling of their orders. You are also responsible for managing stock and the order and cleanliness of the branch.

It's a two-part feature. This means you have warehouse and counter work. 

Warehouse: 
As a logistics employee, it is your responsibility to accurately collect customer orders, this can be inside the warehouse or outside in the storage area. You collect, bundle and stack heavy cages with the forklift. You load and unload trucks with precision, with every action aimed at moving goods safely and quickly. Suppliers were welcomed with a smile as you inspected their shipments and guided them to the appropriate locations in the warehouse. At the same time, you keep a keen eye on safety.

Counter:
At the counter you are ready to handle the needs and questions of every customer with care and attention. With extensive knowledge about products and services, you offer expert advice, helping customers make the right choices. While smiling kindly and listening to customer requests, collect and process orders in the system with speed and accuracy, making the entire process smooth and streamlined. And even at the counter you keep an eye on safety at the branch. 

We are looking for a colleague for 40 hours a week, on weekdays. You will work in shifted shifts, the times are from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Do you have an affinity with technology and/or construction? And do you have good communication skills? Then this is really something for you! 

About the client

We are looking for a logistics/desk employee for a manufacturer and distributor of plastic fittings and piping systems. This company is located nationally, but this vacancy is open to the location in Hengelo . The culture at this company is cohesive, customer-oriented and results-oriented. You will work in a sales branch. You have a lot of contact with different customers from various sectors, such as traders, construction companies, installers, government agencies and utilities. 

What we offer you:

You can expect a competitive salary, described in our client's collective labor agreement. This is between €2200.00 and a maximum of €2800.00 gross per month.
