Auror project AUF

AUF means Asset Data From Photos. For the client's customer, who is an energy grid operator in the provinces Noord-Holland , Flevoland , Gelderland and Friesland , 57,000 medium and low voltage rooms must be inspected. This is done by 'translating' photos into data. Our client's customer needs this data to make calculations regarding the touch safety of the assets. Based on these results, appropriate measures are taken to ensure the safety of the environment.

The project consists of a number of work packages, of which inspecting the spaces in the field is the very first step. Without the fieldwork the following steps cannot be carried out. Een A crucial role is therefore reserved for the observers in the field to map the situation per room by taking photos. The project to convert the photos of the spaces in the field and then the photos into data runs from June 2024 to June 2026. During that time, all spaces must have been visited.

To staff the field work, we are looking for a team of people who want to carry out the inspection work for us. The aurors are the eyes in the field to record the current situation in the field. Because this has to be done in dangerous environments and situations where alertness must be high, we are looking for people who can deliver precise and stable work. Below is a brief explanation of the tasks, responsibilities and personal qualities we are looking for:

• As an inspector, you ensure that the asset specifications are recorded as they are in the field. Een crucial first step in the correct recording of asset data in the next steps of the process;
• You do this by recording the contents of the assets with various devices (telephones, cameras) and the applications installed on them;
• Because work is carried out in the vicinity of electrical installations, strict safety requirements must be met, continuously and all the time!;
• Capturing is done according to a certain pattern – from left to right, from top to bottom;
• To enter the field you must have certain certificates. To obtain this, you will be trained and certified with a combination of theory and practice;
• The aurors work in different regions in the provinces Noord-Holland , Flevoland , Gelderland and Friesland ;
• Every week it is announced again which area will be inspected;
• Locations and progress are monitored daily at group level for safety and training needs;
• The aurors are supported where necessary by a coordinator who is available for questions and clarifications;
• The inspection work will take place from September 2, 2024 to June 30, 2026;
• If assets cannot be inspected (not found, not accessible, dangerous) then an asset will be aborted. These assets will be inspected again at a later stage.

• Good command of the Dutch language;
• In possession of a valid driving license B;
• In possession of a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (or willing to apply for one);
• Fit to carry out inspection work for a long period of time, such as getting in and out of the car, experiencing various weather conditions, carrying out minor physical work such as pruning limited vegetation);
• Is meticulous and constructively critical in the execution of the chimney and continuously adheres to the applicable safety requirements;
• Ensures consistent quality of the inspection results;
• Accurate in using the equipment and instructions to carry out the chimney as safely and effectively as possible;
• Calm personality who keeps a cool head in various situations (wind and weather, difficult situations);
• Dares to ask for help if the situation cannot be fully assessed. This may be due to unsafe situations or unknown situations;
• Has a commitment to traveling and surveying daily for an extended period of time;
• Is a go-getter, even when things aren't going well;
• Can handle the freedom to enter an area at your own leisure and inspect various assets;
• Willing to also do self-study to prepare for certification exams;
• Pre: has experience working in hazardous work environments;
• Pre: has experience in electrical engineering environments.
