As a capacity planner at Royal FloraHolland, you are indispensable for ensuring the logistics process runs smoothly. Without your careful planning and coordination, the required capacity cannot be guaranteed, jeopardizing both internal operations and customer satisfaction. Your job is to ensure that all logistics employees are in the right place at the right time, with the right resources and in the right numbers. Your precise work ensures that Royal FloraHolland maintains its reputation as a market leader and can serve its customers at all times.

Your top 3 activities are:

  • Creating optimal capacity and roster planning for Logistics;
  • Determine how many employees are needed to do the work in logistics and ensure that sufficient employees with the right skills are on the work floor;
  • By mapping the number of employees required per work process, together with the team leaders and employment agencies, you determine the deployment of employees.

Together with your team leaders, employment agencies and fellow planners, you map out the required capacity per work process 4 to 10 weeks in advance and look for solutions to any problems. You divide tasks within the team in collaboration with the main planner and work closely with your fellow planners to coordinate the work within the team.

  • A working week between 32-38 hours per week;
  • A salary according to the collective labor agreement (based on 38 hours per week) of € 3,109 to € 4,077;
  • Start between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM;
  • 27 vacation days for full-time employment with the option to purchase 10 extra days;

  • Travel allowance from 10 km, € 0.21 cents per kilometer;
