Your role in automation:

As a Software Engineer PLC you are responsible for the automation of factories and machines. You not only write new PLC and HMI software, but also test and optimize existing software. Experience with GIT and Python is a must. In the company's modern factory you test the software and provide support in the commissioning of production lines, sometimes even on location at customers worldwide.

Most important tasks:

• Automation of factories and machines
• Writing PLC and HMI software
• Testing and optimizing software
• Support with commissioning, including travel to customers

What we offer you:

You earn a salary between € 3116.00 and € 4733.00 gross per month, depending on experience. Benefit from 25 vacation days, 13 atv days (exchangeable for higher salary), and a travel allowance of €0.23/km for commuting and €0.30/km for business trips. 
In addition, we offer a telephone allowance of € 30.00 net per month, an annual personal training budget of € 1,500.00, and an inspiring working environment in our modern building.

What we ask of you:

• Enthusiasm for advanced software
• Collegiality and flexibility in collaboration with various departments
• Great sense of responsibility and resistance to working under time pressure
• HBO education in a technical field
• Experience with object-oriented programming (PLC)
• Experience with or knowledge of the Sigmatek operating platform is an advantage
• Knowledge of Structured Text programming language is an advantage
• Strong documentation and substantiation skills
• Command of the Dutch and English language
• Occasional travel to customers in the US and Europe is no problem
