Purchasing assistant Damen Yachting

Do you have experience in a purchasing or logistics department and do you want to work for one of the largest organizations in the yacht and shipbuilding industry? Then read on!

For Damen Yachting we are looking for a purchasing assistant for a longer period of time with the prospect of permanent employment.

As a purchasing assistant you have a nice package of varied and challenging work, so you will work in a precise and structured manner.

A selection of the activities:

  • Administrative processing of purchasing work
  • Drawing up overviews of CBS indexing
  • Annual supplier assessment assistance 
  • Manage, monitor and improve the methods and resources used for order monitoring
  • Taking minutes of discussions
  • Perform FAT coordination and Document Control functions
  • Advising regarding IQ within your own work area

This position can be full-time or part-time, depending on your capabilities and wishes.

What we ask of you:

  • Experience in a logistics or purchasing department
  • Administrative, archiving or technical training at MBO level 4
  • Knowledge of Dutch and English language, spoken and written
  • Have sufficient technical insight
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office package
  • Knowledge of and experience with an ERP system
  • SAP experience is an advantage
