Furniture delivery person

As a furniture delivery person, you are responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our furniture to customers. You ensure that the furniture arrives in perfect condition and help customers place the furniture where necessary. You work closely with your colleagues to ensure excellent service and satisfy our customers. Your day starts around 9 a.m. and you work until 5 p.m. If you finish earlier, you can also go home earlier.

Activities:

• Delivering furniture pieces to customers in Nederland and Belgium.
• Ensuring correct and safe delivery of the furniture.
• Help with unpacking and placing the furniture at the customer's home.
• Maintaining contact with customers regarding delivery arrangements.
• Carrying out light administrative tasks, such as completing delivery notes.

About the client

Our client is an attractive furniture store in Weert , founded 11 years ago by the current owner. With a small team of just four employees, there is a warm, family atmosphere. The store offers a wide range of furniture items, including tables, chairs, sofas and cabinets, and delivers to customers in Belgium as well as Nederland . 

The store is open seven days a week: Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

What we offer you:

• A varied and challenging job within a close-knit and collegial team.
• Salary from €13.70 per hour, depending on experience.
• 25 vacation days (based on full-time)
• 8.33% holiday pay 

What we ask of you:

• You speak fluent Dutch
• In possession of a valid driving license B
• Physically able to lift and move heavy furniture, together with another colleague 
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Flexibility in working hours, availability in the evenings and weekends is desirable
