Electrical engineering work planner - Defense

As an Electrical Engineering Work Planner at Air Base Leeuwarden you will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating electrical projects and maintenance work at the air base. You work closely with a team of technicians and are the link between management, engineers and executive employees. Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Drawing up detailed work plans, including the required materials, tools and labor hours for electrical projects.
• Coordinating the work and ensuring efficient planning and implementation.
• Managing a team of technicians and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the set quality standards and safety regulations.
• Monitoring the progress of projects and identifying and resolving any bottlenecks in a timely manner.
• Maintaining contacts with internal and external stakeholders, such as engineers, suppliers and other departments within the organization.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of work processes and implementing improvements within the department.

• You have at least 3 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineering Work Planner, preferably in a technical environment.
• You have knowledge of electrical systems and installations or are willing to learn this.
• You have experience in planning and organizing projects.
• You have good communication skills and can work well in a team.
• You are results-oriented, stress-resistant and can handle deadlines well.
• You have an affinity with technology.

No direct experience in electrical engineering as a work planner, but in another sector? There may also be opportunities for you within this organization.
