Machinist

As a crane operator on the Tata Steel site, you are responsible for operating various cranes, such as mobile and tower cranes. You work in shifts and lift and move large and heavy materials on construction projects. You also carry out excavation work and communicate with hand and arm signals.

Main responsibility:
As a crane operator, you ensure that large materials are moved safely and placed in the right place. If this vacancy is not filled, construction projects may be delayed and safety may be compromised.

What we offer you:

The salary for this position varies between €2,500 and €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer overtime compensation from 140% to 200%, depending on the day and time. Do you still need training or certificates? No problem! We finance this for you.

What we ask of you:

• Experience with measuring, digging and closing trenches
• Skill in excavation work for sewers, waterways and cable laying
• Skill in soil remediation and damage-free digging between underground cables and pipes
• Willingness to carry out minor maintenance on the crane and auxiliary materials
