About the client

Our client is a family business with delicious bakery products. They have grown into a baker that can make an important contribution to the Dutch bread culture, employing more than 2,000 people. The location in Waalwijk is one of the 9 locations of Nederland , where you will work as a bakery operator. What are you going to do?

You are responsible for manufacturing and processing the dough. You have control over this and determine whether the dough is good enough to bake delicious bread. Once the dough has been kneaded, it is cut. The sliced ​​bread is rolled up and placed in the resting cupboard, after which it is put back into the proofing cupboard after a long resting period. Finally, you decorate the bread before it goes into the oven. In addition to closely monitoring this process, you are also responsible for:

  • Checking the presence of the correct raw materials and auxiliary materials in accordance with the recipe and coordinating the required resources;
  • Converting the production line and correctly setting up the equipment;
  • Monitoring the progress of the process and identifying imperfections;
  • Carrying out various quality checks and registering findings via lists or systems;
  • Resolving routine malfunctions or quality deviations by adjusting the equipment within the parameters;
  • Involving third parties in the event of more complex technical malfunctions;
  • Keeping machines in the area clean. 

What we offer you:

  • A gross monthly salary between € 3,250 - € 3,900 including an average allowance of 30%;

What we ask of you:

  • You have experience as an operator and/or baker;
  • You are willing to work in a 2 and 3 shift system; 
  • You attach great importance to hygiene and safety regulations;
  • Experience in a food sector and knowledge of HACCP is an advantage.
