Field Service Engineer

On behalf of Siemens Energy we are looking for a Field Service Engineer. You will work on beautiful international and long-term projects throughout Europe. First via Actief Werkt! Techniek and if you have a positive experience, there is a good chance that a permanent contract will be available for you at Siemens Nederland ! In the position of Field Service Engineer you are responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance, commissioning and minor modification of control and automation systems at customer locations. Your work mainly consists of testing work outside the office and commissioning at onshore and off-shore customer locations at home and abroad. Together with the engineers at the office in Assen , this work will be prepared and you will be introduced to the technology for the relevant installation. If necessary, a training period of several weeks/months will have to be followed in one of our offices in Nederland or abroad.

What we ask of you:

• Education HTS Energy Technology / Electrical or MBO-4 level with experience
• Willing to work stand-by shifts (carrying out work outside normal working hours)
• You are familiar and skilled in commissioning and testing
• Strong communication skills;
• You are willing to work abroad for a longer period of time;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language.
• You are in possession of a driver's license
