Operator

As an Operator you play a crucial and responsible role in the production process by ensuring that all tasks are carried out properly. This includes carrying out production preparation and production activities, such as polymerization, cooling, filtering and pumping. Your responsibilities relate to quality, quantity, environmental and occupational health and safety requirements.

Tasks

• Checking raw materials and carrying out preparation actions according to the production plan
• Weighing raw materials for various production batches
• Monitoring the production process and the quality of the product
• Operating reactors, cooling and filtering, pumping over finished product and inspecting samples
• Checking and maintaining equipment and carrying out preventive minor maintenance
• Operating the water treatment plant and carrying out cleaning work
• Production of small batches of cheese coating
• Refilling the salt water softening system and checking water hardness
• Reporting production data
• Loading and unloading of packaging, general cargo and bulk, including operating the loading installation

You report to the cooperating foreman.

About the client

It is a producer of water-based binders. The company places high demands on equipment and safety due to the nature of the raw materials and processes. The installations are partly automated and are controlled and monitored in a 3-shift system. The production processes are physical and chemical in nature and take place in batch processes.

There are various production installations, including reactors/cooling tanks, steam boiler, cooling towers, condenser, heat exchangers, filters and tanks for raw materials and end products.

What we offer you:

• A full-time position of 40 hours per week in a 3-shift system
• A salary between €2,327 and €2,985 gross per month
• Shift allowance of 21%! on top of your salary

What we ask of you:

• A completed MBO education at level 3
• Preferably a training course in working with hazardous substances or willing to obtain this 
• A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one
• A Vapro A diploma is a plus, but if you do not have this diploma, you are prepared to follow the training
• Accuracy, team player, work skills and attention to detail
